About: In the salty, industrial boat sheds of Newport Beach, CA, you'll find the art projects of Scott Richards, also known as Slightly Choppy. With his hand-crafted, painterly process of art and design, each creation is unique and quirky on their own. Slightly Choppy has always embraced local surf culture from the past, the present and inspiring the future. The latest flag creations are honoring surf localism and those who are surfing the breaks that are molding stories and memories that set the tone of future folklore. Each flag is hand-painted, stitched and prepared to be hung with photo, art or object collections.
